ENDGAME
Developed as a stage design for Samuel Beckett’s Endgame, this project explores the elevator as a symbol of suspension, repetition and existential confinement. Instead of offering escape, it becomes a mechanical structure that rises and falls within a closed system, turning movement into a form of waiting.
Raw metal structures, scratched surfaces, graffiti marked walls and industrial fragments create an abandoned world shaped by decay and accumulated traces. The stage becomes an unstable space between hope and isolation, where the characters remain caught in the desire to leave and the impossibility of departure.
